BioKinesiology offers a holistic approach to treating digestive issues, addressing the root causes to provide long-lasting relief and improve overall well-being.
Navigating PCOS and IBS with BioKinesiology Support
Managing digestive issues in women with PCOS involves a multi-faceted approach. This may include adopting a healthy diet high in fiber, high protein breakfast and low in processed foods, exercising regularly, managing stress, and possibly taking medications or supplements to help regulate hormones and improve insulin sensitivity. Working with a healthcare provider who is knowledgeable about both PCOS and digestive health is crucial in developing an individualised treatment plan. This is what we strive to do in a BioKinesiology treatment
Your first Reflexology treatment
I will introduce my hands to your feet and ask you to take 3 deep breaths. I will carry out relaxation exercises on your feet to begin the treatment. I also like to play relaxing music to make you feel comfortable. I will then start to gently press around different areas on the soles of your feet, on the front of your feet and ankle area. This is activating the reflex points on the feet that correspond to the organs, muscles, bones, nerves, lymph nodes and glands of the body.
What reflexology can do for you
There are over 7000 nerve endings on the bottom of your feet that connect to the brain, spinal cord, and sciatic nerve. In my practice, I work on the feet by stimulating these nerve endings to break up uric and lactic acid crystal deposits in the feet, leading to the release of the crystals into the bloodstream and elimination by the urinary system.
Reflexology Aftercare Guidance
It’s important to follow the reflexology aftercare guidance. Reflexology promotes the body to naturally cleanse itself of unwanted toxins and congestion or imbalances in energy. Removing these helps your body to heal itself.
